To celebrate Anti-Bullying week here at Suffield, we've been making these "anti-bully" bracelets (kindergartners made necklaces!) in art class. Each class brainstormed a list of anti-bullying words and then used shrink film to create beads displaying anti-bullying reminders. These bracelets will help us remember to make footprints worth following!
Mrs. Tannert!
ReplyDeleteYour anti-bullying bracelets are amazing! What a positive message and creative way to make purposeful art with your students. I am so proud of you! Keep up the great work!
Robyn (Mrs. Peterson)
I teach sixth grade and my students would love these bracelets. Would you be able to email me or post the materials used? Great job!!
ReplyDeleteLauren,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find your email, so here are the materials we used: matte shrink film, colored Sharpies, thin plastic jewelry cord, and whatever little beads I could find! Does this help??
Yes! Thank you so much. How does the shrink film work? My email is lauren.stone@sendit.nodak.edu
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! :)
