Fool-Proof Portraits Update!

You can see the original post for these portraits here.  I decided to have my maternity leave sub (the wonderful Miss Chandra Coe!) try a few changes with this lesson while I was out.  Instead of painting, they used warm or cool-colored construction paper to make abstract collages for their backgrounds.  Instead of just stapling the transparencies to the collages, they slid a piece of warm or cool-colored tissue paper in between to help the drawing stand out a bit more.  I think the results are great! Next time I might have the students make the construction paper collages and then paint on top of them because I like both ideas!
