Kindergarten Self-Portraits

Our kindergarten artists have worked very hard to draw self-portraits that really look like themselves!  They learned that each part of the body (arms, neck, legs, fingers, etc.) has two lines, and they did everything they could to avoid "stick figures"!


They also learned that a landscape is an outside picture, and had their first tempera paint experiences with painting one for their backgrounds.

I love that you put the kids art work on here! It is great to see what they have been doing. Christian enjoys looking at the art work that is up and telling me who drew it and little stories about the fun he has in art class. You are doing a great job!
